Rush Northville 2006 boys dominated King's Hammer tournament

The Rush Northville 2006 boys team participated in the prestigious early spring tournament in Cincinnati, Ohio, on March 10, 11 and 12, organised by King's Hammer Soccer Club. In competition with reputable teams from Ohio and Michigan like Columbus Crew, King's Hammer Academy, Lakota Academy and Canton Celtic, the Rush boys demonstrated an exciting style of play and won the championship in a dominant way by beating their opponent in the final game 7-1. After 1st game with King's Hammer Academy in which boys created many scoring chances but struggled to realize them (won 3-1), their finishing improved from game to game resulting in final scores of 5-1, 6-0 and 7-1. In addition, the Rush Northville 2006 boys team demonstrated high level technical skills, high pressure defending and creative build up to create scoring opportunities for players from attack, midfield and defense. Players from all 3 formation lines scored in every game. The boys have demonstrated strong opening performance which proves the impact of a solid program and hard work on continuous player development.
