Michigan Rush Select Program
The Michigan Rush Soccer Select Program serves as a tool to bring together the top Rush players from across the state. These “Player pools” will be exposed to the highest quality coaching from within the Michigan Rush.
It is the vision of our club to provide year round development opportunities for our members. The Michigan Rush Select Program and its elite coaching staff will be responsible for selecting an elite pool of players and provide those players with year round training and competition opportunities. We hope to see our Select teams competing in elite events such as: US Club Soccer Regional Championship, US National Indoor Championship, US Soccer Super Y League, and other high-level tournaments and competitions.
Key Dates:
August 2011: Mi Rush Fest and Initial Player Selection
September – November 2011: Fall Training: Twice per month
Winter 2011/12: Player Evaluation Weekend
March - June 2012: Spring Training: Twice per month
July – August 2012: Summer Competition

Selection Process:
The Rush Select selection process is ongoing. Players will be observed in a variety of situations including the Michigan Rush Fest, as well as tournament and league competition. Players can be asked to join the player pool at any time during the year.
Players selected to be part of the Select players pool will be contacted via email with an offer. Once the pool is finalized, details of training and any further commitments will be communicated via Select head coaches.
Team Objectives:
U10 – Prepare players for U11 Select through the fostering of a competitive training environment.
U11 – Compete at US Club Soccer Regional Championship
U12 – Compete at Rush Fest
U13 – Compete at US Club Soccer Regional Championship
U14 – Compete at Rush Fest
Cost:
Selected players will be required to pay a fee of $99 for the years training. This $99 does not include any additional expenses teams may incur: Competition Fees, Travel costs, indoor training facility fees or any other relevant team costs.
Information on how and when to make this payment will be distributed to all players selected.
