PA Rush donates proceeds of Golf Outing to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

NEW BRITAIN, PA (February 5, 2018) – Pennsylvania Rush Soccer coaches Mike Formelio and Kenny Armour proudly presented a check for $6,031 to Kevin Kane of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) on February 1, 2018. The funds were raised during the PA Rush 1st Annual Golf Outing, which was attended by over 120 golfers and held on October 17, 2017, at the Spring Mill Country Club, Ivyland, PA.

PA Rush is a member of Rush Soccer, a national organization home to 34,000 youth soccer players nationwide, and over 1,300 local youth and adult players from all over the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Rush Way encourages passion, leadership, respect and, above all, quality, in all that we do. Kristian Bates, PA Rush Technical Director, said that “being a part of the international Rush organization, we seek ways to give back to our ever-expanding community. This golf outing was a perfect example and we couldn’t be prouder to make the donation to CHOP.”

CHOP is a pediatric healthcare facility and primary care provider, offering the best available care and support for kids in Philadelphia, PA.
